Early Vote, Starting To Rethink It.

Yeah so more and more people are early voting thanks to the Obama campaign spreading the word on our campus (as far as I know the McCain table has been quiet and also nonexistent). But yes I have heard many stories on people literally waiting hours in line to vote. I know election day is going to be crazy but I hope not too crazy. I don't want to stand there for 5 or 6 hours as some have already done while early voting.

I want to do a vlog on this as well as on a few legislations that are trying to be passed. But my access to a camera is limited right now but one will be up within the next week I hope.

But I guess Sam is not going to write! what's going on with that?! I'll get on her case about it when I go to lunch with her. But yes fans, that is all I think.

Thursday rant (not really)

Hey guys, well I have spent the last two days in the library, I am really trying to get my shit together. But tonight I have to pull an all nighter...crackhead status tomorrow most definitely. But I have to write a five page paper. I know, I know, haven't got ALL of my shit together, but cut me some slack! I'm getting used to it!

Everyone is leaving this weekend so I guess I can catch up on my sleep in the absence of all my friends. Well, not everyone is leaving but the majority are, or already have.

I thought that I was going to be the only one writing for a while since I have told Sam that she needs to write and she never does! But I had to literally pry the laptop out of her hands to do this blog.

Speaking of laptops, I really want one because I want to blog because it is so calming and quiet! But yeah.. I have a feeling that I am not going to get one soon..

Quitting smoking isn't going well either..But I promise if I have not already quit by New Years that it will be my resolution. But anyway I haven't partied in a while either I guess that is because of my very rigorous new study schedule (sarcasm) or because I haven't had time because I try to catch up on sleep every chance that I get.

So I got some sweet new 10 dollar earrings (fake of course) but yeah I like them alot I will post pictures when I get the chance.

I suppose that is all. Samantha will probably post soon, at least she told me she would.

Bye

1 Follower Celebration Post!

YAY! Melissa follows our blog! Fuck yeah!

But yeah I did not sleep for like..30 hours or so. So I was walking around like a zombie and my conversations were crackhead-status. But I finally fit time into my nonexistent schedule and slept. So I think I have caught up. I lost 4 pounds in those 2 days so yeah...weird. But I ate today and think I got my weight back up.

A vlog is needed soon. And there will be one soon, I promise! Sam took a video of my crackhead talking so that will probably go up first. But I think a direct, verbal update is needed and wanted by all of our followers! haha.

But yes, unless I am wrong you don't necessarily have to join the site to follow, I don't really know the info on that.So please comment comment and follow follow! haha

Howdy!

Hey everyone, I am back! Also, GO RAYS!!! Haha, Sam is so pissed that the red sox lost! But I am so happy that they won, it almost makes me want to go back home and celebrate! But I went to West Palm Beach for the weekend to visit my grandma (Hence, the Photo of The Week) I took the train which was a very good experience, I had a lot of fun.

I think that me and sam are going on a hardcore study schedule, we really need to crack down and hit the books harder. You all should be proud. We recognized our problem and are taking charge.

I started smoking black and mild wines again. gahh I was so good for a month guys!

Oh, and about my little meltdown blog earlier, everything is cool now. I have such a good support system with my friends and they made me feel better, in Miami, Tallahassee, Tampa, and 727! But everything is settled now, I had to drop two classes in the process; along with 150 other students in the same class (wtf!)

I love my grandmother so much, and I wish that she was closer, because she is so lonely. I wanted to cry everytime she would tell me that no one visits her, and about how happy she was to see me. But I never cry, apparently I show no emotion. I don't necessarily think that it is a bad thing. She's so cool, instead of going to a regular mass (I always feel necessary to go to church when I am with her, even though I don't believe) we went into some random wedding ceremony and watched people get married. The whole time she was pointing out things she polishes and shines, and works so hard to maintain. These little things make me so happy.

But, with all that said, I am so glad to be back here at FIU I felt away for so long, and it was good to come back and chill with my friends.

Here's some random photos I feel like putting up:

puffer fish gazing (barred)

Photobucket

Photobucket
our building, a good shot.

Photobucket
Building I thought was cool.

My sweet new shoes, I have already received like 5 compliments! =D

But yeah, I have better ones I can put up. But that will be at a later date! Hope you enjoyed!

Snoring away.

So it's almost 4 AM and we're having a slumber party... but Steven's passed the fuck out and has been snoring (LOUDLY!) for the past hour and a half. We caught it on vlog, no worries people, it'll be up shortly.

My fish died. Stephanie Fish, Bryan, and Armando - RIP. I'm not getting new ones because I'll probably just kill them on accident. Even though we have a two week warranty - if your fish die within two weeks, you can just put them in a ziploc and bring them into PetSmart with your receipt, and walk out with brand new fish! Yay! But somehow the idea of keeping my fish in a ziploc in the fridge overnight so I can get more the next day is disturbing. When would that process end, ya know? Within the next two weeks, I'd just be getting more again. Fuck.

Steve's still snoring. We took a walk tonight around campus, and apparently it wore him out. Sarah and I were having some good conversation until the people upstairs starting having loud, crazy sex. Good for them, but the banging noise is irritating after a while. We're going craaazzyyyy.

Steven dropped classes today - fucking slacker. I'm sure he'll tell you about that later. So now he has Friday's off, so when I'm taking an exam at 9 AM he'll still be sleeping like a baby. Life's rough.

Over and out.

Procrastination Diary Part 2

I'm sitting here, my paper is due in one hour and a half. I'm doing it and all but I just felt the need to write. Has anyone ever felt so alone in a group of people who are your friends?

I'm second guessing myself, my abilities, my potential. Am I cut out for this? Is this...college thing really for me? I don't know anymore. I feel like I should be out; discovering things, exploring.

I feel as if I should be in a small town in Greece or Spain. Have a simple, laid back job and living out my life. Why do I need this degree? Am I wasting time? I'm dissapointed in myself. I don't know dudes. I was having the time of my life here until today. What brought me down so low?

My paper is due in one hour and a half. Instead of starting it just when I woke up at one o' clock I chose to walk around campus and think of how fucked up my career as a college student is getting. I need to focus.

I want to just leave...go somewhere that I don't have to worry.

Europe is calling me.

Oh, I relapsed by the way.

Procrastination Diary Part 1

So guess what? I have so much shit to do and I am NOT doing it! I seriously think that I have a problem. So right now i'm doing this instead of writing a paper or studying for the test that I have at 9 AM tomorrow. Gahh this college shit is so stressful. But I truly think that one day I will be used to it. It's just like transitioning from middle school to high school. You think about shit so much that it stresses you out but you get used to it. So for all you stressed out college students, keep your heads up!

Well yeah I think that i'm mainly going to be a youtuber, although I will write for the Chronicles here sometimes (maybe more frequently than i'm letting on) keep track of my vlogs on our youtube channel and don't forget to subscribe!

www.youtube.com/lvschronicles

But yes people I feel the calm before a very, VERY, violent storm. But more on that later, I may make references in a vlog but stay tuned.

Game Day

So FIU beat Middle Tennessee tonight... by a lot. But apparently they're the only team we beat last year, so that's not saying much. It was still exciting, though, especially the half-time show. The marching band played and some baton twirlers performed and fucked up really bad. It was amusing (Steven and I could NOT stop laughing).

There's lots of we-ju-pong going on in 415, and Andrew and Chris are playing a beer game later on. Once again, it's the place to be.

PS: I attempted to quit smoking (lasted for two days) but relapsed. How's that for will power?

It's Friday!

So me, Tiff, and Steven are off to the mall today - Christine's not coming this weekend which is a bummer, considering we've been planning "Christine's weekend"for so long. Everyone's getting lost to the UM game.

Last night we drove to Walmart in an attempt to buy fish, but it turns out they no longer sell them there. So we're getting them today, after the mall. It's going to be an eventful Friday, let me tell you... The Sox play the Devil Rays tonight and I'm getting hyped about the intensity that will erupt in 415 when Steven decides to cheer for the Rays. Shit's going down. We'll keep you posted.

To Study, Or Not To Study?

Hey yall, I really have no idea whats going on right now lol. But yeah for those of you that don't know already, I quit smoking(tobacco) about 2 weeks ago. I haven't smoked since! woo! But tonight..I think that I might relapse...=[ If I get the motivation to walk to the store. It sucks dude..I'm just feenin for a black and mild wine right now. We'll see though.

Today I missed my English class. gahh. I always get so upset when I miss a class. I'm supposed to be doing an outline for an essay on political ads right now but I guess you can see what I would prefer doing...College is so hectic.I always have this knot in my stomach, cause I think ima be like..a college failout (um..made that word up?) I really want to start doing video blogs (vlogs, I thought people would get that word, until sam asked me what it was...) But I would rather talk to you than type. But yes, I will start doing vlogs when I get a new memory card for my camera.

How is it that I miss every presidential debate?! I always forget! I wanted to see the one last night.

Oh that midterm grade? 84! Go me. I would have preferred an A but a B is acceptable..Im going to try for a better grade next time though.

Does anyone else have the same ADD-like thing I have? I mean I do everything BUT study or do homework. I hate it. I know sam just wrote today, but I have work to do..so that means I have to post so I won't have to do work. If anyone has some tips on how to focus let me know!

Well...I guess I will try to do some work...until I find something else to do.

We-Ju-Pong

We-ju-whaaa?!

This fresh, innovative form of entertainment (kudos to the creative minds in 415) has been keeping the boys busy for the past week or so. Similar to ping-pong, we-ju-pong consists of two players with make-shift paddles, volleying a ping-pong ball (intended for beer pong) back and forth across a three-foot table, and over the cardboard "net." Exciting? Definitely.

Our biggest competitors in the we-ju-pong field so far are Andrew, Will and Greg, and it's tough to say who dominates. I've seen excitement well in all of them as they succeed in retrieving the ball as it flies rapidly over the divider. It gets intense, people get hasty, fights break out, but at the end of the night the sport remains an innocent form of entertainment.

End note: congrats to Christa for becoming a member of Sigma Kappa!

Financial Crisis For Dummies.

Now, to be honest, I haven't read up on the financial crisis or anything. But from how frantic my parents are acting I think I should be scared. I follow a few vlogs on Youtube and I was browsing when I found this:

Now..if this woman is right in her explanation of the bailout plan..then what the fuck...I want to learn more about this. This post was kind of to bring forward this issue and inform those of you who don't know whats going on. I'm not trying to be political or anything but this is just another reason why this election is so important.

Hey hey heyyyy!

So Steven pointed out that the photo of the week is up (just in case you HADN'T noticed the "photo of the week" bar to right of the page). We're officially in business, fo sho.

Last night 415 made a makeshift ping-pong table, so that was the highlight of the night. Pretty bomb, I must admit, and it's now equipped with some bad-ass paddles (cardboard and duct tape - amazing). Tiff got drunk, and it was the first time I've seen her drunk since Christine's last visit. Side note: Christine is coming back next weekend and we're having a nice family dinner, so all of the usual people need to schedule us in for next saturday night. We can make it quite the experience if everyone's down to cook a delicious meal. Any ideas? I vote some kind of pasta.

Congratulations to Carolina, who has now joined the Steven-Samantha blog phase. She's going to be a good asset, I can tell. Wooooo, Caro!

I'm about to hit up 415 to see what's going down over there. I have a ping-pong tournament to undertake in, so I'm over and out. Enjoy the videos that we've been uploading (video bar: in action, on the right). Love you all!

Mid-term What?

Yo wat up sam be talkin too proppa in this piece. Haha I have a very different writing style than her I suppose. But yes, this is he: Steven! I'm still recovering from last night's escapades. Me and sam were studying last night....which means that we were doing absolutely nothing until the alarm went off and all hell broke loose.. But what we were supposed to be studying for were our mid-terms! I had mine at 11 today. I totally think I kicked ass on it.But I will keep you all updated on that situation.
But anyway, I get in to my mid-term like, right at 11.. and everyone was already there..so I go to an open seat which, of course is in the middle of an already full row, and NOBODY moves their goddamn feet.What. The. Fuck. So here I am, literally tripping (like falling down) over people's feet until I get to an open seat. I hate people. Wouldn't one not want someone to step on their feet? Whatever. On top of these rude ass people I had horrible ass gas (no pun intended).

I'm an amateur photographer so every now and then I will post up some pictures for feedback or something like that..Also every week me or Sam will put up the "photo of the week" look for a new one every Sunday or Monday.

I think that's all for now...Oh, we're putting up a video(s) later today. They're pretty kick ass so check them out.

Can you dig it?

So we were about to write a kick-ass introduction to our new blog, when we were rudely interrupted by the fire alarm. After assuring Caro, Chels, and Christa that we were not the cause of the alarm, we traipsed out of my dorm room; other residents were flooding the halls and staring at a cloud of, what appeared to be smoke, that was filling the hallway. Steven ushered the panicked crowd down the stairs. After waiting outside for a good twenty minutes, we discovered that the cause for this occurrence was not due to a fire - it was a prank. So who gets punished for fourth floor misconduct if nobody comes forward with information about the incident? The whole fourth floor.

Needless to say, we are now up and running, and this is our intro to how shit goes down in LVS... especially on the fourth floor (we don't exactly have the best reputation). Welcome to our world: venting, videos, and other evidence of our crazy days, and nights, spent with our even crazier friends. We might blog daily, we might not, but stay tuned.
