But yes, Barack Obama is our new president! I was kind of discouraged by all of the facebook statuses (I won't go into them as I am sure all of you know) as well as videos that have been infecting the internet. BOTH candidates told us that we all need to come together as a nation and work together to get us out of the shit hole that our government has created during the course of the past 8 years.
Things here at FIU were crazy! Everyone ran outside and celebrated! People were on the roof and everyone was happy. I wish that we had more moments like that here because it was so energetic!
I got a B on my anthropology paper that absolutely SUCKED! But the next week I got an A on the exam in that class! YAY for my first A in college! It makes me want to strive to get more A's!
Not much else is new, I haven't seen my friend in about 2 days what the hell is that about?! we live next door to each other!
I'm excited to go home for thanksgiving and see everyone that I haven't seen in months! I love it here, but it's good to go home every once in a while.
Oh, and I just found out that they teach Swahili here I am so excited! I'm definitely taking it next semester!
